Dr. McMunn graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2000. She then completed a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. McMunn remained on faculty at the University until 2002, when she and her husband moved to Connecticut. Dr. McMunn is an active member of the American Optometric Association, and currently serves as Treasurer for the Connecticut Association of Optometrists. In addition, Dr. McMunn is the founder of KidSight Connecticut, which promotes regular eye examinations for infants and children here in Connecticut. Dr. McMunn was named Connecticut Young Optometrist of the Year in 2007, and has appeared on many television and radio shows discussing eye health.
